Providing Clean Water to Every School in Tunisia by 2027

1 in 5 schools in Tunisia has no access to clean drinking water. That’s 527 schools and over 50,000 children learning without a fundamental resource.

Kumulus aims to change this by the end of 2027 through the help of our partners.

"Concrete solution for CSR projects"

Having water available directly on site means that residents no longer need to travel miles from the village to fetch water. What's more, the daily production of 20 to 30 liters of water allows us to avoid up to 500 kg of plastic per year, and up to 2 tons of CO₂ emissions. The changes are visible in terms of costs and the environment, since we no longer buy plastic bottles.

Kumulus solutions can be powered by all types of sources: solar panels, electricity grid, or battery. The Amphore and Boks use 0.4 to 0.8 kWh / litre, depending on climate conditions. The Kumulus water coolers use 0.5 kW per day.

Yes, the taste of Kumulus water is consistent wherever you are. Our multi-stage filtration and controlled mineralization process ensure the same fresh, clean, and balanced flavor, regardless of the local air quality or climate.

Our water meets and exceeds World Health Organisations and EU drinking water standards. It is filtered, UV-purified, and enriched with essential minerals for taste and health.

Yes. The mineralization process ensures a fresh, neutral, and pleasant taste, similar to high-quality bottled water.

Kumulus machines can operate in a wide range of environments — we’ve even tested them successfully in desert conditions. They work anywhere with temperatures above 5°C, though water production will vary depending on humidity and temperature. In optimal conditions, they can produce up to 45 liters per day. For best performance, we recommend areas with relative humidity above 30% and warm temperatures, such as Mediterranean, tropical, and coastal regions, as well as arid zones with higher night humidity.

The Kumulus machines capture the air, condense the air into water, filter it through 4 different filters, and then mineralizes it before coming out of the tap for the user to drink. Check out our Instagram explainer videos here!
