While camping in the Tunisian desert, Iheb Triki and Mohamed Ali Abid noticed dew forming on their tent at dawn. That simple, natural phenomenon sparked a big idea: what if we could replicate this process and create clean drinking water from air?

Kumulus was born. Operations started in France and Tunisia with prototype development and testing backed by €1 million in pre-seed funding.

Iheb Triki
CEO
Iheb began his career in private equity, focusing on renewable energy project finance across the Middle East and Africa. A graduate of École Polytechnique and UC Berkeley, he has advised public and private institutions on energy and environmental innovation.
Mohamed Ali Abid
CTO
Mohamed Ali applies his engineering expertise to create innovative water purification technologies. He holds degrees from École Polytechnique and Mines ParisTech, with experience in designing, selling, and building thermal power plants.
