Kumulus solutions can be powered by all types of sources: solar panels, electricity grid, or battery. The Amphore and Boks use 0.4 to 0.8 kWh / litre, depending on climate conditions. The Kumulus water coolers use 0.5 kW per day.

Each filter has its own replacement cycle, which also varies depending on the environment in which the machine operates. For instance, in desert conditions, the particle filter needs to be changed more frequently than in rural areas. Our maintenance team manages this process end-to-end, remotely monitoring filter status and performing scheduled technical visits to ensure timely replacements.

No, Kumulus' solutions are designed so that air quality does not affect the safety or purity of the water produced. Incoming air passes through multiple filtration stages to remove dust, sand, and airborne pollutants before condensation. The resulting water is then UV-sterilized and mineralized, ensuring it meets WHO and EU drinking water standards. We have verified this through over 6,000 water quality tests conducted in environments ranging from clean coastal areas to heavily polluted industrial zones.

With proper maintenance, our machines have a lifespan of 15 years.

One machine produces 20 to 30L per day. This will depend on the environmental conditions: usually decreasing slightly in the winter, and increases in the summer. This is great, because humans consume more water in the summer relative to winter.
